Hope & Despair

Despair not. Hope is a beautiful thing.  Nelson Mandela while in prison, in his darkest hours oftentimes asked himself whether he would be better off just being an ordinary lawyer in his hometown than to fight against the unjust apartheid system in his country. Now we know that his 27 years in prison has finally set his country free from the injustice. We all may not be Nelson Mandela but we can still leave a mark on the path to STOP LYNAS. A simple prayer, our presence in the march and our encouragement to one another to fight in unity until LYNAS is STOPPED.

This art is a tribute to all the people who work day and night to stop Lynas from damaging the lives of people and our environment. The artist is trying to convey the frustration, fear, anguish and despair we are all going through at this very moment, this very hour.
